Estela do Mar is a hidden gem nestled along the picturesque Portuguese Camino, in the charming village of Baiona. From the moment my colleague and I arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and a refreshing glass of water, a gesture that set the tone for our delightful stay.The owners, Iago and Ivana, have crafted a welcoming haven for weary travelers, with pristine facilities tailored to the needs of modern-day pilgrims. The bunk beds, though shared in a common room, offered comfort and privacy thanks to thoughtful curtains. We appreciated the clean surroundings, lockers, and convenient charging stations – a true sanctuary for exhausted wanderers. The hostel's proximity to Praia da Barbeira and Santa Marta Beach allowed us to unwind by the sea after a day of exploration. The property's terrace and garden furniture provided the perfect setting to relax and soak in the serene coastal atmosphere. The welcoming vibe, coupled with the attention to detail in the hostel's design, truly exceeded our expectations.
